The Evaluation: To start we need to get a sense of the style and condition of your items.  Email pictures to shop@encoreinteriorsonconsignment.com or bring them to our store.  If you live in the Fox Valley area we can also come to you, please call 920-882-5392 to make an appointment.  The evaluation process is FREE and no obligation.  Arrangements can then be made to get your items to our store.  We can recommend a variety of options to get items here if you are unable to transport them. 

Determining a selling price: Condition, style and function are key components in determining price. If you have the information please share with us where you bought the piece, how old it is, how much you paid for it, and what you feel the piece should sell for. Remember the selling split, you, as the consignor get 50% of the sales price.  Like you, we wants to get the most we can in a reasonable selling time.

The Sale!:  Upon recieving your furniture and home decor you will be given a copy of the consignment contract with all consigned items listed.  Once here we do minor touch ups and professionally merchandise your items.  Our sales staff will then work to sell them.   Upon the sale of your item(s) you will recieve a check for 50% of the sale price.  You can call anytime to find out if something has sold, otherwise checks are available for pick up or mailed (you choose) on the 10th of each month. 

What are the consignment terms?  

• Encore Interiors will pay the consignor 50% of the item’s final sales price. 
• All consignments may be subject to price reductions, which will affect the consignor earnings.  Generally a 10-20% reduction will occur at 3-4 weeks, 6 weeks and 9 weeks. 
• At 90 days the consignment period will expire. The Consignor will have a seven day grace period from the date of expiration to pick up their property.  Encore Interiors WILL call or mail notification as a reminder of this date.  Items not picked up within the 7 day grace period will become the property of Encore Interiors and will be disposed of without notice. 
• Commission Checks are available for pick up (or mailed) for the prior month’s sales on the 10th of each month.  
• We make every reasonable effort to prevent items from incurring damage; however, Encore is not responsible for normal wear and tear, theft, damage or loss of any kind which may occur during the contract period.  You must carry homeonwners insurance to cover your items while in our possession.
